Frankfurt am Main is the fifth largest city in Germany. It is a modern city that reminds Manhattan a bit, as it has a lot of skyscrapers . It is the historical center of the city, which is essentially a large square with impressive traditional buildings. It separates the City Hall and the cathedral with a tower of 95 measures.
In the center of the square there is the statue of justice, and when the weather is good, many people sit and enjoy coffee or a meal in one of the shops that place their tables outside. The Eiserner Steg Bridge connects the two banks of the Main River crossing the city . It is an iron bridge for pedestrians, 170 meters long, first established in 1868.
At its highest point it has an inscription in Greek. Visit the area around the river (right next to the bridge), and by night you can see the skyscrapers of the opposite bank reflected in the river water.
